Luxurious bbq at a luxurious abode

Although it has been a month since this party took place, I'm still gona blog about it. lol. The whole day was a really exciting one. Started off like a normal Thursday, just that we had Housekeeping Practical Assessment. Didn't obtain full marks like what I expected, sigh. Nevertheless, I am all geared for Nana's bbq party. Left college at 4, went home to shower then picked Joanne and June from Kelana Jaya lrt station. When I reached the station, I was shocked to hear that they are still chit-chatting in KL Sentral. So I had to wait in the car. Ended up dusting the dust on my car. Cleaning the mats etc etc. lol. After they arrived, we headed off to the Tesco store in Mutiara Damansara to shop for all the party needs. It was really funny coz' Joanne decided to sit in the trolley and allow other shoppers to give her a stare, and occasionally a glare. haha. After buying all the stuff, we left for Nana's luxurious abode known as Damai something something in Mont Kiara. It's actually our second time there, and we came back for more! It's seirously a lovely place to stay and relax and party!

The Mis en Place crew at the "back of the house"
As soon as we arrived, Nana's maid came and greet us coz' Nana was still stuck at college together with the rest of the gang. Nana's maid actually had a trolley to help us unload all the stuff from my green-dented Kancil which according to June and Joanne is the only Kancil in the Mont Kiara vicinity. Thank God Soraya Dida and Nadya arrived Fashionably Late in a silver hued Kancil. lol. After unloading met up with Lg Wayne and Spectre at Nana's unit and started the Mise en Place for the night.

The pit, and a random shot
The bbq pit didn't look that promising when we first went down, but on second thoughts, it's like a pit in the middle of a Balinese spa garden in Ubud.

Cool lighting effect

3 stooges
2 monkeys, and a coolie keeping his cool. check out June's Ah Lian pose and Joanne's Ah Mah pose. lol

The mamak girls known as Dida Dida Dida and Suraya.

And here is some really cool shots taken using Sean's camera.. haha

The night was really fun. Rated as one of the best bbqs I've ever been to. Food was great *duh, we are hospitality students with skills acquired through Franchois's screaming and yelling and SCENTS for SURAYA... lol. plz dont kill me*, Atmosphere was even better. warm, cosy, quiet and peaceful and last but not least the company was superb.

Suraya: there's a hottie at the balcony...
Reagan: shhh... he can hear you la
Nana: uhuh, yeah... and he's looking at mwah...
June: can the camera see me?
Shae: I'm the focal point

Shae, Joanne

OK,... my apology for this... I didn't know I look so scary. And you guys didnt tell me it's not a serious pic.

Socializing.... and more than just socializing...

The group pic...

And the smaller group pic
Sean, Spectre, Dida, Wayne, Nana's younger bro, Shae, Joanne, Jay, Suraya, Nana, Xiwern, June and I forgot his name but he's from Ecuador. lol

For the after party, we chilled by the pool. soaked our feet in it and talked the night away.

It was about 1am at that time btw...

And the full moon has revealed itself... That's when the wild wolfs decided to do something nasty...

But the wolfs are so weak, they need the whole pack.

And some tried lying on the floor to prevent himself from falling in the pool.

JUNE!!! Caught red-handed!

Urgh.. Those naughty boys and girls.

The morning sun

Anyway, that night itself, we overnighted at Nana's house. Ate some raspberry ripple ice cream at 1 something before sleeping. haha. Next morning, headed down to the lovely pool for a swim and injured my knee with a huge cut from the edges of the tiles. But oh well, managed to swim a few laps before the pain was unbearable. I had a great time at the bbq so Thank You Nana! btw, we're on holiday now,... so we can probably buka puasa at your house one of these days. hehe
