Lookout! at Lookout Point

After the previous delay, we finally decided to check out Ampang's Lookout Point, which is a restaurant atop a hill in Ampang. Suraya has been promoting the beauty of the place and it's not difficult to see why.
Started my journey at 720pm... supposed to pick Reagan, Joanne and Sean before meeting up with Nana and Su Fen and then Suraya Nadya and Dida. Poor Wayne was ill. lol... At 750pm, received a call from Reagan, telling him I was at SJMC. 830pm, waiting at the junction before Summit. Wth man!!! I wasted 30 minutes waiting at the traffice light. It was so stupid man... but then again, wut the heck, it's Malaysia.

After picking Sean and Joanne, drove to Mont Kiara Damai, parked my car and off we went in Nana's car. There was a feeling of Dejavu as we had the same people in the car (except Sean) during the previous mishap. Eeeeks.

KLCC on the way to Ampang...

We reached Suraya's mansion at about 930 pm and wandered around her living room which was extremely dark n huge... it was quite freaky too.

After all the delay.... we reached our destination at 10pm. There was some minor trouble finding parking but it was quickly solved by a driver-with no-license. lol.
We chose the Alfresco dining restaurant known as Bread & Olive. There were 2 other restaurant there too.

I have to say I was stunned by the breathtaking bird's eye view of KL, Ampang, PJ and parts of Subang.

Through the glass panels....

Dining amidst the mist, under the stars, with the city's backdrop

Chilling at the lounge

Chillaxing...
(Me, Suraya, Joanne, Reagan, Nana)

Magnificent... The pictures taken seriously don't do justice to the actual scenery...

The whole dining area was spacious, cosy and romantic. It's the perfect place for couples and friends.

Our collection of beverages.

Mango milkshake

I forgot what was this called but it's a fusion of several fruits. Something unique and a house special.

Some Imported Cheese Fataya...

My very first time savouring a lamb pizza...

Mediterranean Beef Wrap

Baked whole chicken inclusive of

fries... hehe

And the meal was ended with a Banana Fritter Ice Cream thingy.

The meal was fabulous. Not only it was delicious, it was cheap. The meal only cost RM176 for 9 of us and we were all full to the brim. After our relatively late dinner, we climbed up a fleet of stairs to the watch tower.

It is advisable to come in groups as the place is really dark. You may not know who might be there, if you get what I mean

Again, the KL nightline

The group pic with many missing faces...
Nana, Reagan, me, Suraya, Sean

It was a great outing made possible with great friends. Thanks Suraya for the lovely suggestion.

Great View, Great Food and Great Company!
