It has actually been some time since I did a review on some new and trendy restaurant, so I decided to check out the Apartment with a bunch of friends recently.
The exterior looks inviting and the concept is one-of-its-kind in Malaysia. It's basically like living in an apartment with sections such as the kitchen, bedroom terrace and I think the lounge.
Atmosphere seems alright but the service sucks... I'm quite surprise knowing that it belongs to the same chain as Friday's, Italiannies and Laundry.
Despite that, the cheese platter was awesome. Unique in a way too.

I don't know why everyone (including Mr Patrick) thinks the Apartment is a great place, when it's merely a restaurant with inadequate experienced staff and a simplified menu. -_-
Anyway, not far from the Apartment is Big Apple, a donut store so popular that the line reaches the Apartment sometimes. lol. I tried the donuts quite some time back and I can see why the que is extremely long. The donuts are very affordable as well.
Apart from Big Apple, there's this store called J. Co, which sells the same thing and they even share quite a similar logo. I can't wait to try them but it's situated all the way in Pavilion... sigh.
