Remember the short weekend getaway in the pipeline a week ago? Fortunately, it took off and off we went to Genting! It was planned to be a short and casual trip with the intention to "sek fung" (makan angin).
Our journey started from KL Sentral at 7pm, after a long Thursday in college. Surprisingly, the bus departed according to schedule and the journey took us approximately 1 and a half hours.

Twilight at KL Sentral

The Peak!

Cool fairy lights

Uncle Lim's ultimate plan...

As soon as we reached, we checked-in at a slightly more luxurious hotel than First World which is the Theme Park Hotel. The hotel's interior looks rather freaky with it's long corridor and classic atmosphere. The room on the other hand was not bad, definitely more spacious then the First World Hotel.
After checking-in, we ventured out for dinner, and chose to settle for some KFC.
Considering it was almost 10pm, there wasn't anything to do besides walking around and we found a shop beside Ripley's selling some quite fascinating items.

I lvoe this masquerade...

June trying to feel glamorous... trying too hard...

And these 2 monkeys failed miserably in reviving the Retro hairstyle...
*hello, I can see the tag*

This cowboy hat fascinates me. YEE HAA!!
It wasn't long till the shop attendant stopped our photo-taking frenzy with the excuse that it was not permitted. Sigh.

Then we walked out of the hotel, to breath in the fresh air; something really priced for in KL.

It was really relaxing, with fresh cool air blewing towards our direction.

And within seconds, the whole peak was blanketed in a thin layer of mist.

So cold yet so comfortable.

Garrick, Joanne, June and me *Lg n Xiwern lost themselves*

And then there was this shot before heading back to our room.

The exciting city of KL from far during the night

Haih... Im also feeling a little weird with the amount of pics taken of ourselves.

The next morning, we woke up to a nice cool environment. aaah...

If only we could stay longer...

But I had to stress myself for the prom that night.. sigh.

I am clearly different from them.
Considering all of us were almost broke, we had instant cup noodles for breakfast.
And coz' Genting is too money-minded, there were no coffee nor tea in the room.

And because it was meant to be a short and relaxing holiday, we just walked around the hotel and went to the First World indoor theme park.
We also went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum.
Overall, it was quite impressive I would say.

It's the Saturday Night FEVER!!

Dance till you lose your mind

Hugo Boss ad.
It's quite interesting how our shadows alone took up most of the space in my memory card.

City amidst the clouds
After hanging around, it was time to leave for KL as we were rushing for Prom.

We were rushing, they were ****** (word not found)
Malaysians being Malaysians. They didn't realize that other passengers like us, were so fussy that we chased everyone out of our seats. lol. SO what's the point in rushing in when the seats are already allocated?????!?!?!!?

The Fab 5! I wonder who is missing.
It was a short trip but the air was fantastic!
