Feast at "EEST"

One fine day, June invited Reagan and I to dine with her at EEST, pronounced as "east", at the Westin Hotel in KL. EEST serves oriental cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere. A one-of-its-kind in Malaysia I would say. As the Westin KL is situated along Jalan Bukit Bintang, we got a chance to stroll along Malaysia's most vibrant shopping district.

The art of photography... what more can I say?

The Junction of Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail.

As soon as we reached the hotel, we were clueless as to where EEST is located. And we thought it is pronounced as E-E-S-T. SO... we went to the counter and ask where is E-E-S-T.. damn malu... sigh... =.="

We headed to the lift and June was so jakun that she asked me to take photo of the buttons... LOL

The Menu Cover...

June feeding me with peanuts... Gosh, I've been really tanned from the Pangkor trip...!

The interior of the restaurant is quite pleasing to the eye. It's a fusion of contemporary and oriental design. And it has an open kitchen concept - for the culinary-curious patrons...

June's Mango Mint Ice Blended.... yucks. lol. And unlike other conventional oriental caterings, EEST serves chilled water in a unique red coloured glass instead of Chinese tea.

Reagan's ee fu mee with some flakes that I've forgotten ... *I hope I spelled it correctly though*

June's Green Curry Coconut lalalalalala noodles. *Too long to remember*

My...... I FORGOTTEN!!! LOL. Something Thai chili jam lalalalalala

A successful picture taken after like 5 attempts...

Our meal was then ended with a complimentary dessert which is actually honeydew cut into the shape of a flower and coated with jelly. Looks simple but taste great! The food overall was OK la.. Not too bad but a little on the expensive side..

After lunch we ventured around the hotel to 'check it out'. We wanted to try the heavenly beds but all of us were too shy to ask.. haha

The spiralling design on the ceiling and a unique hanging glass sculpture

Not to forget, the toilets. One of the many things worth checking out in every hotel. lol.

The buffet spread viewed form above the coffee terrace.
camwhoring...

After that we went "jalan-jalan" around Starhill Gallery, Sungei Wang, Lot 10 and around the place.. lol.

The "fantasy" tunnel I would call it, connecting Starhill Gallery to the JW Marriott Hotel. Reminds me of the time I used to hangout with old school friends.
