Suraya's 19th at Feringghi Garden Bistro

On the 25th of February was our BIG BUNDLE of joy's 19th Birthday.
I didn't make it home in time from the hotel to give her a surprise but we did treat her to a sumptuous meal at Feringghi Garden Bistro.

We got ourselves at the al-fresco styled restaurant just before twilight which made the photos picture perfect. By the way, Feringghi Garden Bistro is located in Batu Feringghi, a stone's throw away from the Grand Plaza Parkroyal. It's a fusion restaurant which incorporates casual fine dining and Malaysian cuisine.

The atmosphere was again unique, with many Caucasians dining there, outnumbering the locals. In fact, there was hardly any local.

For once, we actually managed to gather everyone in our house.

My absolutely scrumptious meal

The interior design of the restaurant was great. I would rate it as the best restaurant in Batu Feringghi. The furnitures were arranged neatly and the lightings were just right to create the perfect ambience.

And you could choose to dine in the gardens...

or indoors...

The small but well-stocked wine cellar

Interestingly, it had an open-kitchen concept, which is relatively new to such a small town like Batu Feringghi.

After that incredibly satisfying meal, we adjourned to the beach which was just behind the restaurant. There, we surprise Suraya with a cake with candles. (it's quite difficult to find candles there)

June bursting into laughter for a reason I don't know with Su Fen trying to challenge the force of nature
