Rewind: Last fortnight of January

Somehow, it didn't occur to me that I had to update my blog. Probably too caught up with other activities and outings.
As the month of January was more towards adapting to the new lifestyle, we spend almost every other nights at the beach. One fine night, we met a guests and he was too kind that he bought us alcohol and chips.

And after nearly a decade, I made a return to Teluk Bahang, which used to be a quaint fishing village. Alot has changed since then, with the introduction of a National Park where the End of the World used to be. The National Park is a new attraction in Penang itself and definitely a great place for adventure-enthusiasts.

I also ventured through the end of Batu Ferringhi to the Lover's Isle. I don't really know why they call it Lover's Isle but there sure was a lot of love notes.

The sea on this side of the island seems different. Almost suggesting a different location like Langkawi.

We also made an effort to visit Queensbay Mall, the largest mall in Penang.
We went shopping for new clothes as the Lunar New Year was just around the corner. It's almost like a combination of Curve and One Utama but it's still not match to Mid Valley.
Nevertheless, there was Sakae Sushi where we had our dinner.

It felt like I was at the Curve as I always dine there whenever I'm at Mutiara Damansara.

Like I mentioned earlier, CNY was just around the corner so we had Yee Sang, Japanese style

These plates clearly suggest our eagerness to consume REAL FOOD
(as in dine in a restaurant and not hawker centre)
