I guess it's time to update after so long. Have been really busy with college. Not to mention the applications for industrial training and course specialisation. Seriously don't wanna think of college anymore and I'm all game for another holiday this Thursday. *if successful* But before I can embark on another adventure, it's best if I continue and end the post on Perhentian. =P
Day III
Just like any other holidays, the last day is always the saddest day. I regretted not extending our stay to 4 days instead of the planned 3 days. In addition to that, we already purchased our return ticket days ahead of our trip and it cost us RM30 each. Can't forgo such an amount.
Anyway, I was supposed to set my clock at 6am for another round of the Perhentian sunrise, unfortunately, i snoozed my phone like 3 times before turning the alarm off and the next thing I know it was already 9am! I was seriously so pissed with myself as I wanted to take an early breakfast and dip myself in the sea for the last time before returning home. Argh.
So at 9am, the girls came over and we headed to the beach to fill our memory cards with last-minute pictures. To my surprise, there was this frog on our door. Literally a frog, not a toad. I think it is probably the first time I've seen a wild frog. *the so called 'frogs' you see at the
padangs are actually toads btw*.

Froggie...

Our room cum chalet.

I don't wanna go home... this place is so tempting to relax and unwind.

I'm definitely gonna miss the pristine beach

And the crystal clear shallow waters

And since we had extra shots left in the underwater camera, I took the opportunity to dip in for the last time to take some pics.

A never ending swimming pool

clarity, peace, serenity...

On the rocks

Another monitor lizard...
After that, we cleaned up and packed up and checked out. Considering our boat leaves only at 4pm and it was only 11am, we decided to leave our bags at the reception and head for a sumptuous lunch at Lily Cafe

testing the macro feature..

For unknown reasons, the food tasted great. I believe it is owned and operated by a group of Thais.

Their fried rice is to crave for... and their Thai chicken thingy is to die for.

A digitally enhanced pic.. hehehe

Coconut trees to complete the tropical experience
WARNING... hundreds of pictures coming your way
One thing I realised was the fact that the sun, plays an important role in taking a perfect shot. I literally waited for the sun to come out from its hiding to take these wonderful shots...

I simply didn't get enough of the beach and the island and probably can't.
After lunch I continued taking more pictures and remarkably, I managed to get some seriously great shots.

And there was also Ang Moh boi again...

Omg... he looks so cute in his oversized T-shirt. *can't believe I'm saying this*

After lepaking under the coconut tree for hours playing cards and bullshiting and taking pics, it was time to leave...

For the memories..
